☕ SPY ZERO DTE June 17, 2026 EDGE News – VIP LEVELS
📌 TLDR — START HERE (read this if nothing else)
Tuesday pulled back -2.70 pts to 750.75 but bulls held above Flip. Spot now sits between LL 750.08 and LH 752.35 in a tight structure test. Bull cluster +56.5M dense in 751-756 zone. 755 is the day’s heaviest MM Magnet (44.7M combined exposure) — natural upside pull. Bears collapsed to dust (-8.4M).
📊 The Setup In Plain English
Spot 750.75 | Max Pain 745 | Flip 748.86 (spot +1.89 ABOVE — cushion mode holds)
Structure: LH 752.35 / LL 750.08 — tight 2.27 pt coil.
Spot just +0.67 above LL. Bulls 6.73:1, bears distant dust.
The 755 strike is the heaviest two-sided MM hedging zone on the entire board — natural magnet pull from above.

🧭 TL;DR — The Three Paths
| Path | Trigger | Move |
|---|---|---|
| 🐂 UPSIDE | Break LH 752.35 + 5m hold above | Path opens to 755 MM Heaviest Magnet (natural pull, sticky absorption) → 756 Mama |
| ☕ RANGE | Chop in 750.08 – 752.35 coil | Tight vise — premium burns, wait for break |
| 🐻 DOWNSIDE | Lose LL 750.08 + 5m hold below | Drop to Flip 748.86 → 745 MP. Bears dust below (no real magnet pull) |
Main Thesis: Structure (tight coil at LL) + Levels (755 MM Magnet pulling from above, Flip 748.86 holding below) + cluster (6.73:1 bulls) = bull-favorable setup. The 755 heaviest magnet is the most likely Wednesday destination if bulls confirm above LH.

📊 Q LEVELS — WHERE SPOT IS AND WHERE MM IS EXPOSED
Spot is here: 750.75 (Tuesday close, -2.70 pts from Monday’s 753.45). Max Pain: 745. Flip line: 748.86 — spot is 1.89 points ABOVE it.
What the Flip line means in plain English
The Flip is the line where Market Makers switch behavior.
When price is ABOVE the Flip line: MMs are calm. They sell when price runs up, they buy when price drops. They cushion moves. This creates sticky prices and slow trends.
When price is BELOW the Flip line: MMs are defensive. They have to sell when price drops AND sell when price rises just to protect themselves. They stop cushioning. They start helping moves go further.
Today, spot is 1.89 points above the Flip — still in cushion mode but with a thin cushion. Bulls need to defend the Flip 748.86 to keep MMs in absorber mode. Lose Flip with conviction = back to defensive mode.
Confirmed: Spot 750.75 (Tuesday close). Max Pain 745.
The setup is bull-leaning with a heavy MM hedging zone overhead at 755.
Where MM Has the HEAVIEST Hedging Today (this matters most)
The 755 strike is the heaviest two-sided MM hedging zone on the entire board today — combined call+put MM exposure of 44.7M. That’s bigger than any individual bull or bear single-side position.
Why this matters in plain English:
When MM has built up the heaviest combined hedging at one strike, that strike becomes a NATURAL MAGNET. Two things happen:
- Price gets pulled toward it. MMs are constantly rebalancing their hedge as price moves. With 44.7M of activity centered at 755, every move toward 755 reduces MM’s need to hedge in either direction — so MMs let price drift there.
- Once price arrives, it gets sticky. With both heavy calls AND heavy puts at 755, MM has to ABSORB both directions — sells rallies above 755, buys dips below 755. Price tends to chop around the strike, not blow through it.
Translation for today: 755 is 4.25 points above current spot. That’s the natural upside destination if structure allows the move. If bulls break LH 752.35 with conviction, the path to 755 is clean — and once there, expect sticky absorption (sticky pin scenario).
Where MM is exposed today
MM is exposed here (bull positions ABOVE and AT spot — dense cluster):
- 751 — bull position size +27.9M (Daddy Bull — biggest single bull, just 0.25 above spot)
- 756 — bull position size +18M (Mama Bull — above heaviest magnet)
- 755 — bull position size +10.6M (Baby Bull — same strike as heaviest MM Magnet)
Total bulls: +56.5M — concentrated dense cluster 751-756.
MM is exposed here (bear positions FAR BELOW — dust):
- 735 — bear position size -3.3M (Daddy Bear — tiny, 15.75 below)
- 740 — bear position size -2.7M (Mama Bear — 10.75 below)
- 739 — bear position size -2.4M (Baby Bear — dust)
Total bears: -8.4M (basically nothing). Bulls outweigh bears 6.73 to 1.
🎯 WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF PRICE MOVES
IF price breaks LH 752.35 with 5m hold above:
- The FIRST stop is the 752 cluster (20.7M two-sided exposure) — friction stair.
- Then 753 (24.2M), 754 (25.1M) — heavy two-sided friction zones.
- The Daddy Bull at 751 (+27.9M) sits just below LH — provides upside boost.
- The 755 heaviest MM Magnet pulls price toward it naturally.
- MM behavior: as price rises above LH, MMs in cushion mode SELL into rallies to balance their hedges. But the 755 magnet pulls FROM ABOVE — net effect is gradual drift toward 755 with friction at each step.
- In plain words: clean break of LH 752.35 opens the path to 755 sticky pin. Most likely Wednesday outcome if bulls confirm.
IF price reaches 755 MM Heaviest Magnet:
- 755 has the MOST combined hedging exposure on the board (44.7M).
- MM is forced to absorb both sides — sells rallies, buys dips at 755.
- Price tends to STICK around 755 once it arrives.
- In plain words: 755 is today’s most likely “destination” pin. Sticky chop around 754-756 once reached. Premium burns on both calls and puts.
IF price drops and tests LL 750.08:
- The FIRST defense is the Daddy Bull 751 (+27.9M) just above LL — heavy bull defense.
- The SECOND defense is the LL 750.08 itself.
- BELOW LL, the Flip 748.86 is the next line — losing Flip flips MM back to defensive.
- In plain words: 750-751 is a strong defense zone for bulls. Pullbacks likely bounce here unless conviction sellers crack both LL and Flip.
IF price loses Flip 748.86 with 5m hold below:
- MM flips back to defensive mode.
- BUT bears are dust (-8.4M total) — no heavy magnet to pull price down.
- Max Pain 745 (-5.75 below spot) is the next reference.
- In plain words: even if Flip cracks, the lack of bear exposure means the move down doesn’t accelerate. Drift toward 745 MP is possible, but bears can’t force much further.
IF price reaches Max Pain 745:
- MP is below the Flip — only matters if Flip cracks.
- Without bears below to pull harder, 745 is the natural floor.
- In plain words: 745 is the worst-case downside target today. Not realistic unless multiple structural levels fail.
📋 Summary — What MMs Will Do at Each Level (Plain English)
| Price Level | Where MM Is Exposed | What MM Will Do If Price Reaches Here |
|---|---|---|
| 756 (Mama Bull +18M) | Modest long above magnet | Light cap on bull continuation |
| 755 (Baby Bull +10.6M + MM HEAVIEST MAGNET 44.7M) | Largest combined hedging | STICKY PIN — pulls price toward 755, absorbs both sides once there |
| 754 (heavy friction 25.1M) | Two-sided | Slowdown into magnet |
| 753 (heavy friction 24.2M) | Two-sided | Slowdown |
| 752 (heavy friction 20.7M) | Two-sided | Slowdown |
| 752.35 (LH KEY LEVEL) | Liquidity sweep | Break above + 5m hold = path opens to 755 magnet |
| 751 (Daddy Bull +27.9M) | Largest single bull, just above spot | BUYS dips, modest support cap |
| 750.75 (current spot) | Between LL and LH | Bulls trying to defend |
| 750.08 (LL Structure Target) | Liquidity sweep | Lose + 5m hold below = drop to Flip |
| 750 (heavy friction 36.8M) | Two-sided heavy | Strong support zone if tested |
| 748.86 (Flip) | Regime boundary | Lose + 5m hold = back to defensive mode |
| 745 (Max Pain) | Pin target below | Only matters if Flip cracks (bears can’t pull harder) |
| 740-735 (Bears dust) | Tiny shorts, distant | No real magnet pull on the day |
Simple rules for the day:
- ✅ Hold above LL 750.08 + break LH 752.35 = path opens to 755 sticky magnet (high-probability bull day)
- ✅ Once at 755, expect sticky chop (premium burns both sides) — quick profits only
- ✅ If price dips to 750-751, expect bull defense (Daddy Bull +27.9M at 751)
- ⚠️ Don’t BUY into 755 — that’s where MM will sell into your buys (sticky absorption)
- ⚠️ Watch Flip 748.86 — losing it changes the regime back to defensive
- ⚠️ Tight coil 750.08 – 752.35 (only 2.27 pts) = quick directional move once one side cracks

📌 Friends, Traders, and Newbies…
Lend me your eyes! Tuesday pulled back from Monday’s 753.45 close to 750.75 (-2.70 pts on the day). Bulls held the Flip 748.86 — cushion mode stayed intact. Going into Wednesday, the setup is bull-leaning but tight: structure shows LH 752.35 / LL 750.08 with spot just +0.67 above the LL. Bull cluster reloaded to +56.5M (1.3x from Monday) concentrated dense in the 751-756 zone. Bear cluster collapsed to -8.4M (basically dust — bears can’t operate). Bull ratio 6.73:1 BULLS. The dominant feature today is the 755 strike — it’s the heaviest two-sided MM hedging zone on the entire board (44.7M combined exposure), which makes it a natural magnet pulling price toward it from above.
SPY: 750.75 Tuesday Close | Max Pain: 745 | Flip: 748.86
👆 Break LH 752.35 + 5m hold → path opens to 755 MM Heaviest Magnet (sticky pin destination)
👇 Lose LL 750.08 + 5m hold below → Flip 748.86 → MP 745 (but bears dust, no acceleration)
💡 WHY MAX PAIN MATTERS FOR ZERO DTE
Max Pain is the strike where option sellers (Market Makers) lose the LEAST money at expiration.
For Zero DTE, this is critical because:
- Options expire TODAY — no more time to wait
- MMs will push price toward Max Pain to minimize their payout
- The closer we get to 4:00 PM, the stronger the Max Pain magnet becomes
- Today’s Max Pain = 745 — sitting 5.75 pts BELOW spot
Translation: Max Pain is below the Flip 748.86 by 3.86 pts. For Max Pain to pull, the Flip would need to crack first. With MM still in cushion mode and bears collapsed to dust (-8.4M total), MP 745 is NOT the realistic Wednesday target. The realistic upside target is 755 (MM Heaviest Magnet) — pulled from above by the 44.7M combined hedging weight. MP 745 only matters in a complete structure failure scenario.
🧭 STRUCTURE CHECK — Tuesday Close
5 Min Structure:
| Structure | Level | Status |
|---|---|---|
| LH (Lower High) | 752.35 | 🔑 KEY LEVEL — Break above + 5m hold = HH = bull confirms |
| LL (Lower Low) | 750.08 | 🔑 Structure Target — Lose + 5m hold = bear extension |
| Spot Position | 750.75 (+0.67 above LL, -1.60 below LH) | ⚠️ Tight coil, between LH and LL |
Q ALGO™ Status: LH + LL BEARISH structure — but tight 2.27 pt coil, structure test in progress
What this means: Tuesday’s pullback created the LH 752.35 (lower high than Monday’s recovery peak) and LL 750.08 (lower low). The system labels structure as LH+LL bearish, BUT the coil is TIGHT (2.27 pts) and spot is just +0.67 above the LL — bulls are defending. With Flip 748.86 holding (MM cushion mode intact) AND bears collapsed to dust, the structure can flip quickly back to bullish if the LH 752.35 breaks. The next test: break LH = path to 755 magnet. Lose LL = drop to Flip and potentially MP 745.
Unfilled Fair Value Gaps (FVG):
🔴 Bear FVGs ABOVE price (resistance — at and above LH):
- 15m 751.63 — just above spot, between LL and LH
- 15m 754.06 — between LH and MM Heaviest Magnet
- 5m 754.60 — paired confluence
- 5m 755.58 — at MM Heaviest Magnet
- 15m 755.70 — paired confluence at magnet
- 5m 755.90 — at magnet zone
🟢 Bull FVGs BELOW price (demand zones — heavy stack):
- 15m 742.00 — well below spot, deep demand
- 5m 742.00 — paired confluence
- 15m 741.79 — paired demand
- 5m 741.28 — between Flip and demand zone
- 5m 741.12 — paired confluence
- 5m 739.89 — deeper demand
- 15m 727.26 — deep tail demand
🚨 BEAR MIGRATION TRACKER
Bears continue to collapse — the Daddy Bear is now in dust territory:
| Date | Daddy Bear | Location |
|---|---|---|
| June 11 | 730 (-11.1M) | Above spot |
| June 12 | 730 (-35.4M) | Below spot |
| June 15 | 740 (-28.9M) | At MP vise |
| June 16 | 733 (-2.4M) | Distant dust |
| June 17 | 735 (-3.3M) | Held distant — slight reload but still dust |
Key takeaway: Bears have been in dust territory for 2 days now. Daddy Bear at 735 is -15.75 pts below spot with only -3.3M exposure — essentially zero pulling power. Total bear cluster -8.4M means the downside has NO meaningful magnet to chase price toward. The day is structurally bull-favorable unless bulls themselves fail to defend the Flip 748.86.

🚨 WHAT ARE Q LEVELS? (READ THIS OR LOSE MONEY)
Q Levels are NOT support and resistance.
Q Levels are strikes where Market Makers who are EXPOSED will HEDGE. When price reaches these levels, MM activity creates reactions — but that does NOT mean you enter a trade.
Q Levels are 1 of 6 structure points. You need ALL 6 to make a trade decision:
| # | Structure Point | What It Tells You |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Q Levels (Exposure) | Where MMs are exposed and will hedge |
| 2 | Liquidity Zones | Where stops are sitting (LQ Green / LQ Red) |
| 3 | Market Structure | CHoCH, BOS, Higher Highs, Lower Lows |
| 4 | Volume | Is money flowing in or out? |
| 5 | Time | Opening range, power hour, lunch chop |
| 6 | POI Confluence | Do multiple points align? |
❌ Q Levels alone = You will lose money ✅ Q Levels + 5 other structure points = You have an edge
🚨 THE 5-MINUTE RULE
WRONG: “Price hits 752.35, I wait 5 minutes, then I enter.”
RIGHT: “Price hits 752.35, I watch if it HOLDS above/below for 5+ minutes while checking structure. If it holds AND structure confirms, THEN I look for an entry.”
The 5-minute hold is CONFIRMATION, not a green light.
⚙️ Q ALGO™ TIMEFRAME PRESSURE
| Line | Value | Color | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
| MM Flip | 748.86 | 🟠 Orange | Above = cushion. Below = defensive. 1.89 pts BELOW price (cushion active, thin) |
| MM Ceiling (LH) | 752.35 | 🔴 Red | Break above + 5m hold = path to 755 magnet |
| MM Floor (LL) | 750.08 | 🟢 Green | Lose + 5m hold = drop to Flip |
📍 TODAY: Price at 750.75 = +1.89 above Flip, +0.67 above LL, -1.60 below LH, -4.25 below 755 MM Heaviest Magnet = 🔄 TIGHT COIL TEST (cushion mode intact, bulls favored)
🔄 CHART IS YELLOW — STRUCTURE TIGHT. Spot caught in a 2.27 pt coil between LH and LL. Cushion mode holds (+1.89 above Flip). Bulls dominate cluster 6.73:1 but the coil is tight. The dominant feature: 755 strike is the heaviest two-sided MM hedging zone (44.7M combined) — natural upside magnet pulling price toward it. The Daddy Bull at 751 (+27.9M) is the biggest single-strike long, just 0.25 above spot, providing heavy defense if pullbacks test 750. Most likely Wednesday outcome: break LH 752.35 with 5m hold → drift to 755 magnet → sticky chop around 754-756 by 4 PM. Lose Flip 748.86 = back to defensive but bears are dust (no real downside acceleration).
🎯 THE THREE BEARS / THREE BULLS
THE THREE BEARS (SHORT LEVELS):
| Bear | Strike | MM Exposure |
|---|---|---|
| S1 = DADDY | 735 | -3.3M 👹 (distant, dust) |
| S2 = MAMA | 740 | -2.7M 🐻 (dust) |
| S3 = BABY | 739 | -2.4M 🧸 (dust) |
THE THREE BULLS (LONG LEVELS):
| Bull | Strike | MM Exposure |
|---|---|---|
| B1 = DADDY | 751 | +27.9M 🐂 (largest single bull — just above spot) |
| B2 = MAMA | 756 | +18M 🐂 (above MM Heaviest Magnet) |
| B3 = BABY | 755 | +10.6M 🐂 (same strike as MM Heaviest Magnet 44.7M) |
🐂 BULLS DOMINATE — 6.73:1. Bull cluster +56.5M vs Bear cluster -8.4M (dust). Ratio = 6.73:1 BULLS. Bull cluster slightly heavier than Monday (was +44.8M → +56.5M today, 1.3x reload). Bears stayed in dust territory (-4.4M → -8.4M, still microscopic). The dense bull cluster (751/755/756) tightly stacked above and at spot. The 755 strike pulls double duty — it’s both the Baby Bull AND the heaviest two-sided MM Magnet on the entire board (44.7M combined hedging exposure).
☕ RANGE ZONE
| Zone | Why |
|---|---|
| 750.08 – 752.35 | Active tight coil — bulls defending LL |
| 752.35 – 755 | Bull confirmation zone — LH break → MM Heaviest Magnet |
| 755 (sticky pin) | Heaviest two-sided absorption — destination chop zone |
| 755 – 756 | Above magnet — Mama Bull cap |
| 748.86 – 750 | Bull defense zone — Flip and heavy 750 friction |
| 745 – 748.86 | Defensive mode zone — MP 745 floor |
| Below 745 | Bears dust — no real acceleration possible |
🔥 WEDNESDAY FACTOR
| Tuesday June 16 (Today) | Wednesday June 17 (Setup) |
|---|---|
| Open 753.45 → Close 750.75 (-2.70 pts pullback) | Spot 750.75 |
| Prior bear structure cleared | LH 752.35 / LL 750.08 — TIGHT 2.27 pt coil |
| Bull cluster +44.8M | Bull cluster +56.5M (1.3x reload) |
| Bear cluster -4.4M dust | Bear cluster -8.4M (still dust) |
| Daddy Bull 755 (+15.7M) | Daddy Bull 751 (+27.9M) (DOWN -4, 1.8x weight) |
| Daddy Bear 733 (-2.4M) | Daddy Bear 735 (-3.3M) (UP +2, slightly heavier) |
| Max Pain 739 | Max Pain 745 (+6 lift, closer to Flip) |
| 10.18:1 BULLS extreme | 6.73:1 BULLS (still bull-dominant but slightly lighter) |
| Above Flip +7.05 | Above Flip +1.89 (thinner cushion) |
Tuesday delivered a modest pullback — opened at 753.45 and closed at 750.75 (-2.70 pts). The Daddy Bull migrated DOWN -4 from 755 → 751 and reloaded 1.8x (+15.7M → +27.9M) — bulls regrouped tighter to spot. Going into Wednesday, the setup is tight: structure shows LH 752.35 / LL 750.08 in a 2.27 pt coil with spot just +0.67 above the LL. The dominant feature is the 755 strike — it’s the heaviest two-sided MM hedging zone on the entire board (44.7M combined exposure). With both heavy call and heavy put activity at 755, MM has the most absorption capacity there — that makes 755 a natural magnet pulling price toward it AND a sticky pin once arrived. Cushion mode holds (+1.89 above Flip) but the cushion is thinner than Monday. Bulls 6.73:1 — strong lean. Bears collapsed to dust (-8.4M, no real magnet power below). The Wednesday playbook: hold LL 750.08, break LH 752.35 with 5m hold, and the natural pull to 755 magnet sets up the most likely destination. Sticky chop around 754-756 is the most probable afternoon scenario once 755 is reached. Bear failure scenario requires losing Flip 748.86 with conviction — possible but bears can’t accelerate without heavy exposure below.

📚 FVGs and Unfilled Gaps — In Plain English
A Fair Value Gap (FVG) is a spot on the chart where the market moved so fast it skipped a price zone — like a car driving past a gas station too fast to stop. Smart Money (the big players moving size) wanted that price level, but they didn’t get to fill all their orders before the move ran. So the market leaves an unfinished piece of business behind.
Unfilled FVGs are unfinished business. The market remembers. Price almost always comes back — sooner or later — to “fill” that gap, like Smart Money returning to the gas station they missed. Once the gap is filled, the market is even. Until then, the gap acts like a magnet pulling price back to it.
Two types of FVGs:
- 🔴 Bear FVGs = supply zones where sellers didn’t get to sell enough. Act as RESISTANCE above price.
- 🟢 Bull FVGs = demand zones where buyers didn’t get to buy enough. Act as SUPPORT below price.
How to read today’s FVGs:
🔴 Bear FVGs ABOVE price (6 FVG stack from 751.63 – 755.90): Created during Tuesday’s pullback. The 751.63 sits just above spot — first friction if bulls push. The 754.06 / 754.60 cluster sits between LH 752.35 and the 755 MM Heaviest Magnet — friction layer. The 755.58 / 755.70 / 755.90 cluster sits AT the magnet zone — supply right at the sticky pin. Translation: the path up to 755 has friction every 1-2 points. Each Bear FVG slows the bounce but doesn’t kill it. Expect a stepwise drift to 755 if LH 752.35 breaks.
🟢 Bull FVGs BELOW price (7 FVG stack from 727.26 – 742.00): Created during Monday’s massive bull recovery. Heavy demand layered at 741-742 zone (paired 5m and 15m at 742.00 + paired at 741.79/741.28/741.12). The 739.89 is between demand and the Daddy Bear distant target. The 727.26 is deep tail demand — only matters on major bear day. Translation: if price drops through LL 750.08 and Flip 748.86, the 741-742 demand zone is heavy support. Bulls have multiple defense layers before any real downside damage.
Today’s setup: With the 755 MM Heaviest Magnet pulling from above AND multiple Bull FVG demand layers protecting below, the day is structurally bull-favorable. The tight coil 750.08 – 752.35 needs to break for direction — LH break = path to 755 sticky pin, LL break = test of Flip 748.86 (then defended by 741-742 Bull FVG stack). Don’t anticipate — wait for structure with 5m holds.

🔍 SPY SCRIPT VALIDATION TABLE (For Praveen and the Pilots)
| # | Position | Role | SPY Level | Why This Strike |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | B3 | Baby Bull | 755 | Smallest of 3 bulls (+10.6M) — at MM Heaviest Magnet |
| 2 | B2 | Mama Bull | 756 | Middle bull (+18M) — above magnet |
| 3 | B1 | Daddy Bull | 751 | Largest bull (+27.9M) — just above spot |
| 4 | SPOT | Current Price | 750.75 | Tuesday close (confirmed) |
| 5 | MAX PAIN | Pin Target | 745 | Where MMs lose least — below Flip |
| 6 | FLIP | MM Regime Line | 748.86 | Above = cushion. Below = defensive. |
| 7 | S3 | Baby Bear | 739 | Smallest of 3 bears (-2.4M) — dust |
| 8 | S2 | Mama Bear | 740 | Middle bear (-2.7M) — dust |
| 9 | S1 | Daddy Bear | 735 | Largest bear (-3.3M) — distant dust |
| 10 | ABS | #1 Heaviest MM Magnet | 755 | Highest total combined hedging weight (44.7M) — same strike as Baby Bull |
Rule: Sequence is role-based, NOT price-based. Order is fixed: B3 → B2 → B1 → SPOT → MAX PAIN → FLIP → S3 → S2 → S1 → ABS. Today, 755 appears twice (Baby Bull AND MM Heaviest Magnet — same strike serves both roles as the densest two-sided hedging zone on the board). The 755 strike is the most important single level today — natural magnet pull from above, sticky pin once reached. Bull cluster (751/755/756) dense and tight. Bear cluster (735/739/740) distant dust with no real pulling power.
